Tips for an Amazing Yard Sale!
Tip One--- Prepping:Don't wait until the week before the Yard Sale to sort through your "stuff." Start immediately! Sort and clean your items. If it is broken, consider throwing it away or take it to recycle. Load your car on Saturday May 18th and unload your "stuff" immediately after worship on Sunday May 19th. Remember we have limited storage space at KCPC. As always, thanks for your support!
Tip Two--- Let it Go: It's hard to let loose of something we have owned for a long time, but have not used for many years. A favorite book, that fondue pot, and other frivolous items fondly remembered, but long forgotten to the backs of closets or the recesses of the attic. By donating these no longer needed items to the Yard Sale, you find yourself filled with a sense of freedom, as KCPC receives the benefit of your long stored treasure! As always, thanks for your support! ...to be continued...
Tip Three--- Rest and Hydration:There is no way around the fact the Yard Sale is a grueling experience. But it is also a great deal of fun. Opportunities abound for each member and friend to participate. But don't forget to rest, get a good night's sleep, drink enough water, and eat the right foods. In other words--- take care of yourself! As always, thanks for your support! ...to be continued...
Tip Four--- The Customers Come First: Don't forget the real reason for the Yard Sale is not to make money--- but to make new KCPC friends. The annual Yard Sale is the number one day of the year when more people from outside our church come and visit our property. Make a great impression! Introduce yourself, ask how you might be helpful, or what the customer is also looking for. Direct them or take them to the section which interests them the most. As always, thanks for your support! ...see you next year...
