About Our Bells
In 2005, with two memory gifts, the bell choir ordered its first set of two octave bells. Ruth Reed agreed to direct the new choir. It was a momentous day when six choir members unwrapped the beautiful instruments for our first rehearsal, in the sanctuary. Since then we have added risers, the third octave of bells, three octaves of hand chimes, lights, and a fourth table. We have also increased from the six original ringers to eleven. We wish to thank all those who have been so supportive of our hand bell music. About the Director Gary Rothe is the second KCPC Bell Choir Director. He took over direction of the choir in 2011. Gary is a music teacher and Director of Bands at Lebanon Middle School. Prior to this, he held a similar position at the Berlin, NH Middle and High Schools. Gary performs regularly with the East Bay Jazz Ensemble, the Moonlighters Big Band, and other groups around the Upper Valley. His primary instruments are the saxophone, clarinet, and bass guitar. Gary and his wife Barbara live in Springfield, NH. Three Choir Workshop & Ring
