Youth group is heaps of fun, and to add to the antics, we continue our Feed the Freezer support. Every month, and group of kids fifth to twelfth grades put on the hairnets and chop, slice and stir delicious and nutritious meals to contribute to our Feed the Freezer program at KCPC. They learn team work, cooperation, and mad kitchen skills, and the freezer gets fed at least 35 meals. (We're shooting for forty!)
Here's an easy way to fight hunger: We have out Youth Group set up. All you have to do is contact Roberta for our login information, and you can get started with your daily fight to end hunger. Just three minutes a day can help provide many grains of rice, as well as work on some of those academic skills.
You can even get the rest of your family involved. Meet the challenge - how bowls of rice can you fill in a day? Let me know at the next Youth Group meeting - we'll keep a tally.
Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.
This is made possible by the generosity of the sponsors who advertise on this site.
Whether you are CEO of a large corporation or a street child in a poor country, improving your education can improve your life. It is a great investment in yourself.
Perhaps even greater is the investment your donated rice makes in hungry human beings, enabling them to function and be productive. Somewhere in the world, a person is eating rice that you helped provide.
