The Community Pancake Breakfast is a fundraiser for Kearsarge Regional Ecumenical Ministries (KREM) (https://www.nhkrem.org/ ). KREM provides support for people in the Kearsarge/Sunapee region experiencing an emergency, when no other support is available. KREM can help with emergency support for heating fuel, electrical cutoffs, or other emergency needs, when no other support is available.
KREM was established in 2001 as a church-based, 503 (c)(3) non-profit association, created for charitable purposes serving 11 towns in the Kearsarge/Sunapee region. Nine area churches provide volunteer stewards to comprise the KREM board. Funding for KREM is through these churches, community organizations, and importantly about 50% from individual donations.
